The design keeps the familiar character of a classic wood barn door while giving you more control over the final appearance. It is a practical option when you like traditional barn door details but want more than one design choice.

One Door, Five Layout Options

The included accent boards can be arranged into five layouts:

• Classic
• Single X
• Double X
• Left Arrow
• Right Arrow

The door size and core components stay the same. Only the placement of the accent boards changes. Choose the layout before completing the final assembly and installation.

The design can be changed later, but doing so normally requires removing the door and partially disassembling it. It is best to confirm the layout before the door is mounted.

How the 5-in-1 Design Works

Each 5-in-1 classic door arrives unassembled to reduce the risk of damage during shipping. During assembly, you position the accent boards according to the instructions for your selected layout.

Because the pattern is created during assembly, the same door can produce several different looks without requiring separate products for every design. All included parts should be checked before assembly begins, and the door should be assembled on a clean, level surface.

The 5-in-1 feature changes the appearance of the door panel. It does not change the installation requirements for the sliding track, rollers, handle, or floor guide.

Choose Your Classic Door Finish

Classic doors are available in finished and unfinished options. Both use natural pine, but the surface treatment and preparation are different.

Finished classic doors

For a finished door, the selected color or wood finish is applied by Homacer after the order is placed. This removes the need to paint or stain the door yourself.

“Finished” describes the surface color or wood finish only. It does not mean the door arrives assembled. Finished doors are still shipped unassembled and require assembly before installation.

Unfinished classic doors

Want to handle the finishing yourself? These doors arrive without applied paint or stain, so you can choose the final color. Grain, knots, and tone vary from one pine board to another, and those differences may also affect how the finished stain looks.

Solid Pine for Interior Use

Homacer classic doors are made from natural pine for use inside the home. Expect each door to have its own grain, knots, and small shifts in color—no two pieces of pine will look exactly the same.

Keep the unassembled parts indoors and dry until you are ready to put the door together. Avoid storing them on a porch, in a damp basement, or anywhere exposed to large changes in moisture and temperature.

These interior barn doors are not made for outdoor exposure. They should not be installed where rain, outdoor humidity, or direct weather can reach the wood.

Choose the Correct Door Size

A sliding barn door covers the face of an opening rather than sitting inside the frame. For that reason, the door is normally wider than the finished opening and may also need extra height. The trim, the amount of overlap you want, and the open wall beside the doorway all affect the size you should order.

Before ordering:

• Measure from one finished edge of the opening to the other, not from the rough framing.
• If the opening has trim, decide how much of it the closed door should cover.
• Make sure there is enough open wall for the door to slide completely out of the way.
• Look for switches, outlets, vents, thermostats, and baseboards along the door’s path.
• Measure the space above the opening for the track and rollers.

Select Compatible Sliding Hardware

Doors in this collection are sold as door slabs. The track, rollers, handle, floor guide, and other installation parts are not included unless the individual product page says otherwise.

Choose hardware that can support the width and weight of your door. The track also needs to be long enough for the door to move completely past the opening.

A finished door has the selected color or wood finish applied, but it still arrives unassembled.

Natural wood varies

Grain, knots, and color variation are normal characteristics of pine. Product images provide a general representation rather than an exact match for every piece of wood.

Double-Check the Opening

Before placing the order, go back over the opening width and height, the overlap on both sides, the open wall beside the doorway, and the space above it. A few minutes spent checking now can prevent a sizing problem after delivery.
