Track Length Formula

Tip:

Non-bypass kits: Track = Total door width x 2 + 2”.

Single track bypass door width: (opening width + 6.25” overlap) / 2 minimum.

Bypass Clearance guide: Under 8” usually uses single track bypass; 8” or more can use double track bypass.

Triple track bypass systems:
Normally require at least 10 inches of vertical clearance. Always verify the requirements of the selected hardware kit.

Ceiling mount kits: These systems do not require a wall-mounted header area, but they still need at least 6 1/8 inches of vertical space from the top of the door to the ceiling for the ceiling bracket and roller assembly.

Spoke wheel
: May require more vertical clearance than standard roller designs. Check the selected product specifications before ordering.
